Here are some interesting dreams I’ve had this month, from my dream journal 6/2/25: I’m walking in a desert through a tall canyon. It’s gotten dark, and I keep stumbling over rocks and getting caught in dead shrubs. I start to fear that there’s something following me, and my shoes fall apart, so my feet get cut on the sharp rocks under my feet. Eventually I stumble to an opening where the canyon ends abruptly. It’s day. There’s a large hill in front of me and it takes me a while to crawl to the top of it. My feet itch and I’m still bleeding everywhere. There are clumps of rocks stuck in my feet. The sky is a very bright red, the sun large and yellow. As I come over the hill, I come to a fork on a dirt road. I see a silent procession of hundreds of people in all-black 1950’s style dress. On a tall rock above the road a man is directing them down the hill into the open desert, waving his arms frantically, yelling something but I can’t hear him. There’s seemingly no end to the crowd. On the other side of the road, there’s a house with old white shingles and a sagging roof. Cutting through the crowd, I enter the house and watch the crowd move down the hill through a window. Inside the house, there’s a pair of old people in ratty clothes at a table eating food on cafeteria trays, but they don’t seem to notice me. I wake up.
6/14/25: I’m in a long hallway of a high school. Red lockers line the walls, and I see students and teachers talking in the hallway. I’m holding a binder but the paper inside keeps falling out, and I can’t seem to pick all of them back up. I start walking down the hallway, looking for something. I take multiple turns, but the hall way doesn’t seem to end. I ask a teacher for something, and she tells me to go to the “pool room” across the hall. I walk over to the door and open it, and the room is filled with large plants of all kinds, like a greenhouse. It’s very humid and hard to breathe. There are brightly colored flowers everywhere, and tropical-looking plants with huge leaves. There’s a door to a restroom in between the plants. I walk into the bathroom, and I start to wash my hands. As I lather my hands together, the skin on my palms begins to peel off and bleed, and I try to wash the blood off with the water, but my skin begins to fall off in chunks. I get water all over my binder and I’m embarrassed by this. I exit the bathroom back into the hallway. There’s a P.E Teacher there, and he reprimands me for walking in the halls without a hallway pass. I start walking away while he’s talking. I wake up.
6/16/25: I’m in my room doing something (can’t remember) and I see a bright light outside. I look out of the window and I see a mushroom cloud in the distance. I run downstairs and tell my mother that we have to leave. I get in the back seat and hide. We start driving around aimlessly, and no one else seems to be reacting to the mushroom cloud. As we’re driving, another explosion occurs, this time much closer, and I tell my mother to drive faster. She does, and more explosions happen, this time next to our car. As we’re speeding down the road, a police car pulls up behind us and starts flashing its lights. My mother pulls over, and I ask her why but she stays silent. The police officers yells at us to get out of our car, and I get out and start running away through an alley. I keep running until I come to a McDonalds. I walk into the McDonalds to catch my breath, and the employee behind the counter tells me I have to leave because they’re closed. Angry, I walk over to the soda fountain and press the soda taps until the room is flooded, and the employees start yelling at me. I wake up.
